When I first set foot on Socotra years ago, I knew immediately that this place would change everything.
I encountered a world so raw, remote and unlike any other that it left me with an irresistible desire – not just to explore it, but to share it.
The island’s isolation, untamed nature, extraordinary biodiversity and the warmth and hospitality of the locals left a lasting impression on me. Socotra is not just a destination; it is an experience that stays with you.
Together with my partner, I have been running a fully licensed agency, Socotra Exclusive Tours, for over 16 years. During this time, we have successfully organised expeditions, themed trips and tailor-made private tours for thousands of clients, always with a deep respect for the island and its people.
We work closely only with local communities and actively support the livelihoods of the people of Socotra, including initiatives aimed at protecting and conserving the environment. Our tours are designed in full accordance with the principles of ecotourism, ensuring minimal impact on nature while creating meaningful benefits for the local population.

SOKOTRA 2025, the second time... I was wondering what and whether my second trip to Socotra would be different... after all, one hears why return somewhere when there are so many beautiful places in the world... Socotra was absolutely unbeatable for the second time thanks to Terezka and her entire Socotra.cz team, the program was acquired, enriched with new routes, new places... we completed a trek to the mountains... with camels, enjoyed great cuisine again and enjoyed swimming in mountain wadis... everything was great again provided...cars, tents, guides, fun...simply Socotra is love...and I thank you very much for being the best
I don't write reviews. It bothers me that everyone asks for them and I'm a rather introverted person and I would rather share my experiences in person than go into detail somewhere and explain why this or that was great or not so great :-D
However, the trip to Socotra organized by Socotra Exclusive Tours was so interesting that I decided to write a review.....

You can spot or even swim with dolphins, sharks, see turtles, stingrays and many other beautiful colorful fish living on the coral reefs.
